Rajasthani Jewellery

As we know "Rajasthan" is famous for handicrafts and silver jewellery and it's also considered to be the crafts paradise of India. Some of the most attractive Indian jewelry comes from the land of Rajasthan. Each jewellery from rajasthan has its  own unique style, simplicity, beautiness  and incomparable. Here rural women adorn themselves with lots of silver jewellery and urban women with gold jewellery. Madliya, Rakhri, Bajubandh, Hansli, Borla, Timaniyan and Gokhru are the traditional ornaments of Rajasthan.

Rajasthan
is also famous for its complexity and precious jewellery traditions. In Rajasthan, mostly ornaments are made in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner using pearls, agate, emerald, lapis lazuli and diamond. Rajasthan specializes in Meenakari and Kundan jewellery. Meenakari jewellery is the art of enameling on silver or gold and kundan is a method of gem setting,  enameling stones in gold. Often, both are used together for give the jewellery two equally beautiful surfaces.

In Rajasthan jewellery is not used for adornment,  it is a part of their culture and tradition. Here women wear bangles made by Lac, Glass bangles and tribal women like ivory bangles. It is believed that lac bangles are a symbol of luck and good omen in Rajasthan. Lac bangles available in an amazing variety of designs and colors.
